Chris Metzen came back and planned the next 3 expansions including TWW. Imagine if Chris Metzen were the story writer behind shadowlands, how amazing of an xpac would it have been.

There is a fan animation that shows the destruction of Silithus and it's both amazing and sad. Sure its a dead end game zone from the Classic Era but at least said fan animation gives said destruction some weight and gravitas.
